Jessica Alonso, 2022-23 PGY1 Pharmacy Resident from South Florida Baptist Hospital, won this year’s PGY1 FRC Excellence in Research Award. This award program recognizes pharmacy residents for their innovative contribution of original research relevant to health-system pharmacy practice. Each year four PGY1 residents and two PGY2 finalists are selected to present their research at the FRC opening session. On May 11th, 2023 Jessica presented her research project “All Cause 30-day readmission in hospitalized patients with acute myocardial infarction.” Great job Jessica!
